It’s illuminations and content have inspired many to recreate and develop their own Celtic-styled works. Yet, while we know those of the Modern Middle Ages may munch on chips and dip while creating manuscript designs, finding out what the Kells creators were eating is a more challenging venture. Bears in the Hares’ Kitchen

Within central An Tir, showers in April are nothing to note on your calendar; it rains year-round, with brief reprieves during the summer months. Some years, our events are so frozen over it looks like we’re playing outside of Hel’s great hall. No, for us, April marks a different change: the start of camping season.
